Abstract

One way to optimize employee morale is by giving rewards (compensation). Compensation can be provided in various forms, be it both financial and non-financial compensation. There are direct financial compensation consisting of salary / wages and incentives (commissions and bonuses), whereas indirect financial compensation can be a variety of facilities and benefits. The purpose of this report is to identify any compensation provided by the company to the employees of the CV. Fortuna Flower and know the effect of compensation on the performance of employees CV. Fortuna Flower. This report is based on the results of the Student Work Experience (PKPM) conducted at CV. Fortuna Flower for 2.5 months from February to May 2017. Methods of data collection using interviews, literature, documentation and observation. The scope discussed includes the types of financial and non-financial compensation provided to employees of CV. Fortuna Flower and the influence of such compensation on the performance of employees CV. Fortuna Flower in the development of the company. The forms of compensation given to employees in CV. Fortuna Flower, among others: wages in accordance with the minimum wage, incentives in the form of bonuses and overtime payments on large projects, conducive / adequate workplaces, good working relationships between leaders and employees and fellow employees, good employee service programs, logical policies, Competent leaders, employee motivation for achievement, recognition of employee performance, providing responsibilities that match employees' abilities, delivering exciting tasks, and providing challenges to work on new things. In addition, with the provision of compensation will give a positive impact on employee performance such as increasing the productivity of employee performance, increase employee motivation, increase employee confidence in work and provide comfort for employees.
