Abstract

it has been done research of modification gambir driver equipment for increased and quality of gambir (uncaria gambir roxb) gambir driver equipment that had been modification to cousist of : oven measured 160x90x210 cm, mode from thickk aluminium plate : tray with measured 80x70 cm, mode from aluminium (2 mm) that have supported with aluminium block (1x1 cm) head fluid pipe that completed with filter to prevent included of dirt from heat source (heater), hole of steam over the oven and door with completed of transparant glass. output of test the gambir drier equipment in siguntur muda village to indicate the increased of gambir quality and efficiency of industrial activity. the proved of this fat with result of analysis gambir in visual or analysis of moisture content and suspense solid in water and suspense solid in alcohol gradually as 16,37%,6,8%,6,07%,14,52% where as product of gambir drying up by industrial is visual colour is cream, special smell and sound form and light. result of moisture content analysis as content, suspense solid in alcohol gradually as 20,125%;9,2075%;10,125% and 19,8125%
