Abstract

The rations rely maore on the provision of grass or ccompanied by the provision of concentrates from local materials that are widely available in the farmer's environment, such as bran, sago, cassava, and coconut dregs. The protein content in the concentrate does not meet the standard SNI 3148-2:2017 for beef cattle. The grass given is of low quality with a protein content of less than 7 g/kg (Souza et al., 2010)
