Abstract

anemia pregnancy whom is often suffered by pregnant mother is iron deficiency anemia. this research done in the working area of puskesmas tarok with 388 pregnant mother, 32 of them were suffered iron deficiency anemia that influenced by eat pattern. based on monthly report of KIA Helath Official of West Sumatera Province year 20122, anemia pregnancy reached 24,73% the purpose of this research was about to know the relationship of knowledge and pregnant mother attitudes towards eat pattern with anemia tragedy in the working area of puskesmas tarok. this research is analytic survey by cross sectional research design. sampling random of technic simple was chosen in sample taking of 80 people. data collection done by quesioner processed with 95% meaning degree. the result of this research from 80 pregnant mother, 71 of them (88,7%) had high knowledge, 72 of them (90%) had positive attitude and 12 of them (15%) in anemia suffering. there was no correlation between mother attitude towards eat pattern during pregnancy with anemia (2,5<3,84) and there was a correlation between mother attitude towards eat pattern during pregnancy with anemia (8,54>3,84). based on the result of this research expected to medics to inform more about good eat pattern during pregnancy.
