Abstract

This study aimed to design a system that can monitor condition of growing media in hydroponic system remotely. There are two parameters observed, Electrical Conductivity (EC) and degree of acidity (pH), sine management of nutrion is performed base on these two parameter which are given by sensors in small amount of voltages. These analog data will be strengthened by the signal conditioning. Then, microcontroller board Arduino has role to convert the data to digital signals, to calculate the data value and to send it to Liquid Cristal Display (LCD). LCD will display the measured value of pH and EC. The data also will be sent to Raspberry Pi through USB port. The owner can monitor the condution of growing media remotely by connecting Raspberry Pi to internet via modem. Key words : pH, EC, Monitoring, hidroponycs.
