Abstract

Red crackers (kerupuk merah) are local product piladang limapuluh kota area. kerupuk merah are very well known especially for people of west sumatera, due to be used as complementary food or an addition to the asthetic value on main meals such as fried rice, sopu, rice cake and others. kerupuk merah business has long been the establishment as a matter of fact hereditary, but the development its still slow and many other areas that are not familiar with kerupuk merah. thisis partly because industry kerupuk merah in piladang less attention of marketing mix, especialy product and promotion component, therefore, it is done in collaboration with a group partners kerupuk merah family business in effort to improve business management, especially marketing mix so taht it is known an can thrive. on the implemetation of activities carried out and manufacturing branding products, product quality, and the importance of the promotion inthe marketing
