Abstract

KINERJA ALAT PENGHASIL ASAP CAIR DENGAN BAHAN BAKU LIMBAH PERTANIAN Sri Aulia Novita(1), Santosa (2), Eri Gas Ekaputra (3) (1)Lecturer Agricultural of Polytecnic Payakumbuh (2)Lecturer Faculty of Agricultural Technology , Universitas of Andalas e- mail : sri.aulianovita@politanipyk.ac.id ABSTRACT Research has been conducted to test the performance of the tool with the liquid smoke producing raw materials from agricultural wastes to produce liquid smoke as a presvative. This study aimed to conduct a performance test device of liquid smoke and liquid smoke to study the quality of the resulting. From the performance test tool capacity tool that can be known using material from coconut shell, coconut husk, husks, and cobs of corn each 1,0838 kh / hour, 0,5235 kg/hour, 0,47 kg/ hour and 0,9091 kg/hour. Yield result for each material coconut shell, husk and bran, and corn cobs were 31,85%, 33%, 30,88%, and 33,5%. Resulting yield after distillation process for the shell 95%, 92% fiber, husk 90%, 94% of corn cobs. Furthemore the yield resulting from the filtration process shell 99,58%,9956% Coir, husks and corn cobs 99,56%, 99,57%. The purification process liquid smoke,distillate which passes though the filtration process active zeolites and actived carbon have been pure and benzene compounds is not there anymore, so it is safe to use as a food preservative. Analysis of GC/MS, the highest phenol content contained in the liquid smoke that come from the coconut shell is 2,03% and 1,47% corn cobs. Keywords : Liquid moke, yield, capacity
