Abstract
cassava (manihot utilissima crantz) is a prime commodity of lima puluh kota regency wich has the higest production after rice. usually cassava are processed into food, vegetables, animal feed, chips and others. cassava varieties greatly affect the quality of product produced. previous research has obtaind a model or rule identification system of cyanide acid. this was an application of generic programming which is represented in the form of a tree with a system performance accuracy of 95.26% with a population parameter of 500.000 20-25 nodes consisting of function set AND,OR,NOR and 52 terminal set, crosover probability is 0,9 and 0,1 mutation in 5 generations. furthermore, this study used the same parameter in identifying the production needs of cassava, such as chips, tapai and flour and combines all rules. rule obtainded will be used as identification rules. all identification rules are applied in the form of web and android based applications. the application designed to facilitate the community for identifying three cassana varieties based on the level of cyanide acid and can be used for sanjai, tapai or flour chips
